Tips for Success

Write Clear Job Titles

Be Specific About Requirements

Clearly distinguish between required and preferred qualifications:

  • Required: Must-have skills and experience
  • Nice to Have: Bonus qualifications

Include Salary Information

Jobs with salary information get more applications:

  • Specify a range rather than exact amount
  • Be realistic and competitive
  • Consider total compensation, not just base salary

Optimize for Mobile

Over 60% of job seekers use mobile devices:

  • Keep descriptions concise
  • Use bullet points for readability
  • Avoid large blocks of text
  • Test on mobile before publishing

Use Keywords

Include relevant keywords for better search visibility:

  • Job title variations
  • Required skills and technologies
  • Industry-specific terms
  • Location information

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Too Many Requirements

Don't create an impossible wish list:

  • Focus on essential qualifications
  • Separate required from preferred
  • Consider training potential

Vague Job Descriptions

Be specific about the role:

  • Describe actual day-to-day work
  • Explain team structure
  • Clarify reporting relationships

Missing Salary Information

Candidates want to know compensation:

  • At minimum, provide a range
  • Include benefits and perks

  • Make mobile application easy
